Release Agreement for DC Dance Challenge Competition
at the Spanish Ballroom

If for any reason the national park service determines that the facilities within Glen Echo park must be closed to the public due to concerns for public safety, e.g. loss of power or other utilities, failure of sanitary facilities, severe or inclement weather, neither the National Park Service, nor the partnership and the organizer represented by Forever Dancing will be held accountable for any financial expenses related to the cancellation of any event. If Glen Echo Park is closed for any reason by the National park service, including, but not limited to decisions by the federal or governmental administration or policy-making, neither the National Park service nor the Partnership will be held accountable for any financial expenses related to the cancellation of any event.

No Smoking is allowed in the Spanish Ballroom or bumper car pavilion or within 15 feet of the outside perimeter of the building. No alcoholic beverages at any time in the facilities of the park.

In order to preserve the historical site, neither food, nor beverages are allowed at any time in the dancing area of the Spanish Ballroom. Food and beverages should be handle or consumed in the lobby, hallways, snack room, promenade and the perimeter seating area of the ballroom.

DC Dance Challenge will have a professional photographer working on the event, please respect his professional work. He will make the pictures and video available for purchase online. Remember this is a historical site and any picture or video taken inside the Spanish Ballroom could be subject to royalty charges.

By signing this form, all participant competitors listed below, agree in granting the right of their image usage in  any pictures and, or video taken on this event, to the organizers of the DC Dance Challenge. Also, giving permission to the organizers use their image, in any form of media, for the purpose of promotion of this yearly event.

If your package includes dinner, it must be pre-ordered. Please check for the menu then send us an email with your choice. Dinner participants will be required to be punctual. It is a pre-ordered sit-down dinner from 4:00PM to 5:30PM. At 5:30PM service will be concluded with no service for late arrivals.

The competition organizers, their employees, associates and assigns cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained by any persons attending the competition, whether as a competitor or as a spectator. Each person attending in any capacity whatsoever does so entirely at his or her own risk. No responsibility can be assumed by the organizers for loss or theft of articles left in any of the event facilities, including ballroom, bathrooms, and changing rooms. By my signature below I confirm that I have read and understood the above statement and the "Rules and Regulations" and agree to comply fully with them for any of the events named above.
